• Job Details
• Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility OhioHealth Grant to be eligible to apply.
• Position Title: ARRT Licensed Vascular Interventional Radiology Tech
• Work Site: Grant Medical Center (Columbus, OH) in OR
• The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating.
• The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
• The most common procedures are abdominal aortograms with runoff, fistulagrams, carotid angios, EVARs.
• Must be able to operate floro and c-arm.
• The department has an average of 20 patients per day, surgical Scrubs provided, labs run 2:1 RT:RN.
• EPIC charting.
• 2 endovascular suites and also open procedure ORs.
• Philips Epiq 7G, Parks Flo-Lab 2100SX, PenVasc reporting software, Epic/CareConnect EMR.
  • Job Requirements
  • HS diploma/GED
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • ARRT or current equivalent certification
  • Must hold Ohio Department of Health radiologic license - PENDING ACCEPTED (24-48hrs to obtain)
  • BLS Certification
  • 2 years of experience - May consider 1+ yr exp but MUST have Level I or Level II trauma exp
  • The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures.
    • Schedule Information
    • Shift: 5x8's Day Shift (0700-1530); every other holiday
    • Call: Weekday call (up to 2 days per week); weekend call every 3rd weekend
