- Position: MedSurgical Float Pool Nurse
- Hours: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30AM
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
- Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients
in a MedSurgical setting, Flexibility to float within units of
equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed, Availability for
weekdays and some weekends, including holidays
- Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurgical setting
- Current BCLS certification
- Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Schedule Information
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Shift timing: 7:00 PM - 7:30AM
- Weekdays and some weekends availability, including holidays
- Additional Details
- Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state
other than Ohio.
- Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications
required per unit.
- AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable). Letter of
completion not acceptable.
- Travelers can renew ACLS, BLS, PALS at the facility.
