• OhioHealth follows Ayas standards for NRP. AHA AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) or Canadian Paediatric Society only.
• OhioHealth allows 30 days for candidates to obtain the certification issued by the acceptable certifying body if they do not have either AHA AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) or Canadian Paediatric Society.

  • NEED: RN Med/Surg tele - surgical urology unit
  • LOCATION: Riverside Methodist Hospital
  • SHIFT: Day Shift, 3/12's, Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
  • BLS
  • Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently.
  • 1 year of experience will be considered
  • Will consider up to two weeks of RTO
  • Pertinent Unit Info: 1:5-6 nurse patient ratio. Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 30 private/semi-private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high, post-op checks, navy blue scrubs, No ventilated patients. Heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine drips are common. Can have PCA, epidurals, foleys, drains. EPIC EMR

        • No ventilated patients
        • Common medications include heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine
        • Procedures may include PCA, epidurals, foleys, drains
        • EPIC EMR system
          • Additional Details
          • Will consider up to two weeks of RTO
          • APN Candidates: I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form required.
          • * Hospice, Home Health, or anyone required to drive for their position: Requires a copy of driver's license with them at all times.
          • This does not expire for the client.
