Job Description:

An automotive parts manufacturer near the Circleville, OH area is searching for an EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Coordinator to join their facility. The ideal candidate will have previous EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Research, planning, and implementation of improved safety standards and procedures
Communicate internally and externally in an effort to ensure any unsafe working conditions are properly identified and resolved
Documentation of safety / environmental hazard incidents and follow-up
Monitoring of potential environmental hazards and assistance with incident prevention planning
Planning and executing safety & environmental audits
Keep up to date with changes in local and federal regulations for safety and environmental standards
Coordination of regular EHS training for company employees



Requirements Include:

Bachelor's degree in an Environmental Health and Safety-related field preferred, OR equivalent training and work experience
Valid OSHA and / or similar Health & Safety certification is highly preferred
Ideally 4-5 years of related work experience in EHS functions, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Familiar with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 is ideal
Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
